HenU / INFER Workshop on Applied Macroeconomics 5.5
November 5th - 6th, 2021
Full Program
One year after our involuntary hiatus, the world was still in the grip of Covid-19. So before hopefully returning to our regular schedule in 2022, we decided to offer a special half-online / half-offline 5.5. HenU/INFER Workshop on Applied Macroeconomics from November 5th – 6th, 2021. Not only did we manage to get you three exciting keynote speakers with Michael Song, Helmut Lütkepohl, and Joshua Aizenman, but we also convinced them and almost all of our previous keynote speakers to chair a session so that all presenters could get high profile feedback on their papers just as they did in our past conferences. There will be a special issue on the Chinese monetary and financial system in China Economic Review, but as always, excellent contributions from all fields of applied macroeconomics were highly welcomed.
Selected, excellent papers are currently under consideration for a special issue in China Economic Review. Those papers are subject to additional double blinded peer review.
Keynote lectures were given by
Prof. Helmut Lütkepohl
Bundesbank Professor at the Freie Universität Berlin and Dean of the DIW Berlin Graduate Center
